In order to process microwave data (input), magnetic waves with different wave profiles (in purple and green) are excited in a magnetic disk (in gray with red arrows indicating the direction of the magnetization). Nonlinear interactions between the different magnetic waves leads to a characteristic output signal which allows pattern recognition in time-series data.
