Title
Nanoparticles for cancer research
Description
A research assistant prepares a gel electrophoresis experiment, i.e. the separation of molecules under the influence of an electric field. The Virtual Institute "NanoTracking" at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf develops customized nanomaterials for cancer diagnostics and therapy. Extremely small nanoparticles are to migrate inside the body to tumor cells and make them visible.
