HZDR baseline model for poly-disperse bubbly flows
The baseline model was developed for bubbly flow with bubble sizes larger 1 mm and validated for many cases.
Depending on the expected bubble size distribution a decision has to be done whether a mono-disperse approach is sufficient or a polydisperse approach (iMUSIG) has to be used. The definition of the closure models and constants used in the present baseline model version can be downloaded here.
Examples for the validation can be found here.
