Collecting kilometers for a good cause
NCT/UCC’s charity run „Glückskleelauf“ will take place from May 29 to June 6
The National Center for Tumor Diseases Dresden (NCT/UCC) is organizing the charity run „Glückskleelauf“ against cancer from May 29 to June 6 and cordially invites everyone to participate.
Due to the pandemic, participants can decide for themselves when and where they want to run in order to collect kilometers for a good cause. Three suggested routes – along the Elbe, in the Great Garden and in the Blasewitz Forest Park (family loop) – provide additional motivation: Participants can solve puzzles as they pass by, find a golden shamrock with a bit of luck, and win prizes.
Both individual runners and teams can participate in the charity run. The team with the most kilometers will receive the winner’s trophy and a surprise. It is therefore worthwile to form teams with many participants – and above all to run many kilometers.
Participation is free of charge. However, the organizers are happy to receive a donation for each kilometer. This year, the proceeds will benefit a nationwide sun protection program for daycare centers developed at the NCT/UCC.
All information about the run and registration can be found at www.nct-dresden.de/lauf.
